Laura Spinney is a science journalist and writer based in Paris. She is the author of two novels, one work of fiction in translation, and three books of non-fiction. Her new book Proto, the story of the world’s most successful language, will be published in the spring of 2025. Her agent is Will Francis of Janklow & Nesbit in London.
