The strange case of Patient DL, who lies motionless in a small room at the end of a hospital corridor.
Caught up in the aftermath of a riot between Communist and Fascist agitators, a doctor is drawn to the mysterious Anna, whose injuries she treats. This meeting launches the doctor on a journey which will threaten her habits, relationships and trust in human nature.
